Tapas Gitana
It was a quiet restaurant, good atmosphere and the food was tasty. Our waitress was also attentive without being overbearing.

There was a $5 martini special that we ordered. Our $25 gift certificate was already presented. After serving the martinis the staff notified us the martinis would be $10 each! A good manager would have dealt differently with this. Should of told us ahead, this pretty much rendered the gift certificate worthless. And the food order did not go into the kitchen so nothing came out together. The staff was pleasant.

Forgot to put orders in on three of the orders. Service was friendly but VERY slow.

Great tasting food. My only complaint would be the food to price ratio...too little food for what you pay.

I loved the food there, and the service was great! The only thing I wish they had done differently was perhaps offer a sampling platter of a bunch of different tapas, instead of having everything a la carte. Also, an indication of which tapas were spicy would have been appreciated, but overall the food was excellent, the service was excellent, and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.

The waitress was extremely friendly. Our meals were always brought out on a timely manner. The servers always had a smile on their faces. Nice atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable.

The food was flavorful and arrived quickly. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The only reason I'm not giving an excellent rating is because I ordered a dish that described containing a potato pancake but arrived as shredded potatoes instead- still delicious, just misrepresented.

Food was so-so; service was terrible. Nothing about the tapas was extraordinary and certainly it wasn't up to the standards set by Emilio's or Tapas Barcelona, the best places in town. Despite telling the servers that we had theater and had to be out by a certain time, and despite a not even half full restaurant, they rarely checked in, had to be chased down to order more or get a spoon and disappeared at check time.

The atmosphere, staff and food were all mediocre at best. It was dead on a Sunday evening in a neighborhood that was otherwise full of life... and I know why now. Their red sangria was undrinkable and tasted like cheap clove spiced wine. I've never been to a tapas restaurant where I didn't want the plates to keep coming and we actually refrained from ordering more and left to go to a different restaurant. Our waitress was inexperienced and unattentive. Would not recommend.
