The service was okay. My food was not authentic at all(I know Mexican food, as well as, other flavors and what I was served was canned Enchilada sauce.) If I wanted to eat canned food I would have made it at home. The "Sopapillas" were not Sopapillas but more like Bunuelos. The waitress kept an rolling tab( which she added taxes to after each thing was ordered ... she was adding tax to already taxed items) I confronted her about it when the tab was $20 more than it was supposed to be! After explaining that her math or technique was off and asking to see the manager she suddenly seen the errors I was talking about.

The service was very good, the wait staff was very attentive to us. The food was good, not eh best that I have had but good.

The waitstaff was excellent until we paid the bill. Then even though one of us ordered a coffee, and we sat there talking, no more refills were offered for the water drinker and tea drinker.
The food was plentiful but bland. I ordered beef fajita nachos and though there was a lot the meat had no flavor and the jalapeños were not spicy. The red sauce tasted like it was out of a can.

WE love the personal and friendly service we receive EVERY TIME we go to Tecates. Norma has adopted us as family, but the rest of the Tecates family has received us just as wonderfully! Our tea and water glasses and salsa and chip baskets are never empty, our food is served quickly and piping hot!
