We happened to pick a night when there was a holiday party and they were short on help. However, the bartender/server did an excellent job and was pleasant and friendly throughout our dining experience. We plan to go back for the Atlantic Salmon, it was great. The Atlantic Irish Ale was very pleasant also.

Our first server (I think he may have been the owner, manager) was very welcoming and genial. We decided to show him our coupon right away just in case. I was a little worried that he might show a bit of disappointment or something but he was all 'wonderful! I'll just take that for you now!' and made us feel really comfortable. We were switched halfway through to another server, who wasn't as in love with life, but the overall experience was great and we will go back.

Food was very tasty and the bartender was very friendly and upbeat. Second piece of cod was slightly undercooked, and the mac-n-cheese came with chicken instead of the sausage that was ordered, but enjoyed it as well.

The back room was very smoky/fishy from the Friday night fish fry. Not good.

Didn't feel I got my money's worth on the meal. Chicken wings were tiny and fish was over-cooked. Cold inside also, had to keep jacket on

Perhaps we came on an atypical night as it was the 5 year anniversary and the place was packed and extremely loud. One poor waiter was handling everyone in the area. He was running ragged and did the best he could with the crowd. Hence, service was understandably slow and my dinner was overdone and a bit dried out.

Our server was friendly and attentive but the food was dripping with grease. We felt like we needed an emulsifier and ate less than half.
