Rated 5 out of 5 by Connie r The Restaurant.com site said the High Tea was $8.75. When we got our bill it was $23.95. Shocker. Too much money for the amount of food served. Food tasted good, but scones weren't even normal size, small as were desserts, and of course the sandwiches. $50 is just too much. Would not go there again. The manager did give us $8.40 back, but it still was not the full amount due. Wait staff were very nice, manager very nice, but you can get a filling, substantial lunch for $50. Jun 24, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shawn B We have been patrons of The House of Commons for about two years now. We were totally hooked the first time we found this gem. The food and high tea are spot on! The owner even ran down the street to get a piece of Irish cheddar to make us a sandwich once when she had run out. We love this place and will be back many more times. May 20, 2014
