The food is quite good. The order takers are fairly pleasant. We all did agree however that the amount received has been reduced.

The ribs were impressive and tasted great just right tender. I loved it and my adult kids did as well. You will be seeing us again for sure.

We are never disappointed by what we order, only when we're told " sorry we just ran out of __ " They are always eager to fill out your request with a substitute of above value.

best bbq in town jalapeno poppers was really freeking hot couldn't eat them, they was out of smoked chicken but was replaced with something else

Our experiences at the House of Q seem to fall a little further below expectations each time. We keep going back because we remember how everything used to be and are hoping for a return to those days. My food was decent. I say decent because the brisket was less dry compared to other visits. The fries were excellent. However, 3 members of my group ordered "Heaven on a Bun" based sadly on my recommendations. One part of this sandwich resembled a hockey puck and was about as flavorful. When brought to attention to the owner, he said, "That's how they came out of the smoker." He did substitute brisket instead so we appreciated that he tried to make it right.
Our trip here was with a large group of friends. We wanted to talk but could not due to the volume of the music. We were the only ones in the place and when we asked about having the music turned down, it seemed as if we'd requested something much more. It felt as if our request was a huge inconvenience.
When you leave here, you may feel as if you need to stop and buy a huge head of lettuce and vegetables and eat salad for a few days after. Someone is my group asked for a side salad and the owner was proud to say they had no such option. I guess that's okay; it's their reputation.

Absolutely great BBQ. Meat fell off the rib bones, brisket very moist, large portion sizes and meat not fatty. The sides were just average.

The music was TOO LOUD and the entire restaurant seating area was cold - we all had to put our winter coats back on.

Very kind and friendly service, and the food was phenomenal! We both got ribs and they were perfect, fall-off-the-bone tender and they had a new "chipolte ranch" sauce that was wonderfully delicious! (for dipping our onion rings, which are great there too!)

Great food, VERY friendly people, good value. The only thing that could be improved would be the decor, plus it was a little cold in the dining area.

The chicken in my spouse's dinner was overcooked and very dry. When the manager was told, he apologized and immediately replaced it with chicken that was cooked correctly and delicious. The sandwiches that I and my sons had were excellent! The pecan pie was also delicious!

Overall, it was a good laid back experience. I didn't really know what to expect. Have the Vikings game on was a plus and having the cashier be very helpful with walking us through our dining experience. I would say it might be even a little bit better than Famous Dave's.
