The server and food was great. The only negative comment is that it is kind of dark inside the restaurant. I had the Cuban sandwich. The flavor was wonderful. However, I would be be willing to pay a couple of extra $s if it had more meat.

We were put in a room that was very noisy and that made our dining experience uncomfortable. It was hard to hear our conversations. Also, the food was just average with my meal, the vegetarian stack, being partially cold and meager. We ordered a cupcake to share between two of us and it was stale. Not the greatest dining experience.

Servers and busboy need training in attentiveness and appropriate timing. Filling water glasses, clearing dishes when all are done, and returning in a timely fashion. We felt largely ignored for most of the meal. The bread pudding was burned too and I could not get anyone's attention to fix it.

Love the food and service. Question though in regards to the food, do you use organic products, or conventional? I know Organic is a bit more costly,but I think it would earn more customers if you switched.

The restaurant started as a place to do catering. Cooking bulk food for a restaurant doesn't work if you want a good meal. Too many canned and bottled ingredients.

While the food was very tasty, the service was very slow, it took about 30 minutes to get our starter course and we were the only party there. Otherwise everything was great. Also, the staff was very good, just slow (not sure if it is the kitchen doing prep for the evening)? thank you

We came to Oxnard to see the lights on F Street and wanted to eat out. We ate at the Kitchen last year and quite enjoyed it. This year, our server didn't seem to know the menu or the beers (which is one of the main reasons for our eating there). We ordered appetizers and she forgot to put our order in. It took a pretty long time to get them and we had three hungry children with us. Then, she forgot to drop one of the main course orders for an adult in our party and had to drop it as we were all being served. Then, she forgot onion rings with my order. To her credit, she did comp the main course order and the onion rings, but such poor service really downs my opinion of a restaurant, even if the food is good.
