Rated 1 out of 5 by The food is not seasoned at all & is very plain, not tasty. May 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by We were downstairs at the main restaurant, as the Loft was only open to trivia participants. While waiting for a table, it was hard to get service at the bar. Only one "adult" was serving and she was also waiting tables. The entire rest of the wait staffed appeared to be high school age kids. After being seated at a terrible location right in front of the entry doors (with people's butts in our face through dinner), the service was very slow. Took a long time to get drinks, have our order taken, and receive the check. I could see that a large party near us was having an even harder time getting any service at all. They waited at least 10 minutes before someone came to take their drink order. Rustica Pizza was excellent; my husband's balsamic chicken was nasty. Apr 20, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by The service was slow. Drinks weren't refilled. We had to send an entree back because it tasted spoiled. Also the sun was shining in our faces but the blinds were broken so they couldn't lower them. It was very hot. Apr 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by The Loft is supposed to be an Italian Restaurant above Anna's Pizzeria. Called ahead when received certificate and ask if needed reservation and if upper restaurant was open. Was told yes, until 9:00 pm. Went to restaurant, pouring rain, parked two blocks away, and when arrived manager said upper part wasn't open. Came back another time, and upper Loft not open again. That's what I bought certificate for, a relaxing dining experience, not sitting in a pizzeria. So the second time we arrived and were told upper loft not open, we decided to stay and eat in the pizzeria. It was the last opportunity I was going to give this restarant to serve us, mainly because I didn't want to waste the certificate. I do not plan on going back again. So we ate in the pizzeria section. Not comfortable, next to kitchen, loud, waitress had to be asked multiple times for items requested. Received appetizer and main course. Had to ask for the salad after main course delivered. Ordered Veal parm and spicy shrimp fettuccini. Salads ok, nothing special. Veal delicious, spicy shrimp dripping with what tasted like straight tobasco, too hot to eat if noodles were laying in sauce, so I ate noodles off top and wiped shrimp on napkin. Told waitress it was very hot, just smiled and didn't offer anything else. I wasn't going to send back just because too hot for me to eat, but would have been nice if they had offered, then maybe I would have tried something else. Fried ravioli was good, cannoli was good. We had been to the pizzeria once before and pizza was good, so we thought we'd like to try the Restaurant upstairs. Mar 27, 2014
