The Trufflehunter
The restaurant is nothing out of the ordinary..the food is good, the service was fairly good. Some employees were in a bad mood when we got there but were better at the end.

We came at closing, staff and other patrons were friendly and helpful!! The only thing that was an issue is our waitress forgot our salads until we asked about them and the person working the register was unsure of our certificate and whether or not gratuity was to be charged.

We have eaten at the Trufflehunter for years.
It is not as customer friendly as it used to be. Service was very slow but not because of the waitress. Cashier was flustered and unaware of what order the customers came into the line. Seemed to be a bit of confusion in the over all wait staff.

The vegetable with the Grilled Salmon dish was CORN--canned corn. The Pork Shank had potatoes, no veg. Both dishes cried out for a green vegetable.

Holy cow! I read the reviews with a bit of skepticism regarding the generous servings, but I am a believer. 3 hour after our meal I'm still stuffed! We had the Monte Cristo and the Reuben. My husband didn't heed my warning about ordering too much and went ahead and got the mozzarella sticks (that come with fries--what the heck) and he actually ate all but one besides his sandwich. He's still groaning as well. Service was great--very attentive to our needs, and super friendly. We'll be back, but wiser, we'll share something so we can get a piece of one of their tasty looking pies!

One of the best brunch place around, it is always good. Gave $25 coupon to my dentist as a gift, I was late for my appointment. Hope he enjoys it.

seating too close together, very loud, wasnt told that the tip was included and given thebill with thetip place left open. i had to ask if it was included and if that was why it was so much.

In our experience, the focus was more on quantity of food rather than quality. If that's what you're looking for then this would be a good restaurant for you.

Food quality is excellent. Home made bread and first rate ingredients make dining here a real pleasure. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return!!

We really like the Trufflehunter.
One thing that is a problem is the noise level. I don't know if some kind of wall hangings would help, but just the number of people talking at once seems to reverberate. Other than that, we love the food, the house, the employees!!
