Highlights

The menu from Tu Y Yo is composed of family recipes spanning over 100 years. From homemade salsas to typical meat sauces, each item is freshly made and 100% Mexican. We take pride in everything we prepare and thank you for taking the time to experience our culture. In the second half of the 18th century when Mexican towns were being established, fondas were created. Mexican settlers (much like those in the United States) had left their homes in search of land and opportunity. They too had to clear unsettled land and sacrificed all the comforts of home. These people wanted home-cooked meals in a home-like environment. From this came the Mexican fonda. A place where people could get typical dishes of the region prepared using family recipes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Food was very good and seemed authentic. Mar 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff, tasty food, but prices are high for Mexican food and the menu is very limited. There were also a number of "seasonal" items still included on the menu, even though most of them were not available. Mar 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great food. The atmosphere is pretty negligible, and the lights over the tables are way too bright and it makes it feel like an interrogation room more than a nice, soft restaurant atmosphere. But I knew the food would be good. The guys at the table behind us were talking too loudly and one was draping his arms over my seat back, but that's of course not the restaurant's fault. Rated 4 out of 5 by The food at Tu Y Yo is always excellent. Unfortunately we had some minor issues with our waiter (he seemed to be a little in over his head), and there were accidentally 2 items on our bill that were actually from another party. That being said, the food made it worth while. Nov 15, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by The service though efficient, we felt processed through. Nov 1, 2013
