As the Savoring Shreveport & Bossier City folks rightly point out, Twine has a laid-back, cool atmosphere. What struck me about the design of Twine is that it combines the basic logistics of an old-fashioned lunch counter (an L-shaped bar/lunch counter runs the length of the dining room) with the aesthetics of a museum cafe. Come in for an array of worldly cuisine with spontaneous changes made.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Twines is a very nice tea shop, but I would not normally chose it for a main meal. My wife ordered a very good Reuben but I did not care for the tuna salad on flatbread. The fault of the meal was with myself and not Twines. They also carry a number of specialty teas which go well with a light lunch or dinner. Apr 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great service! Great food! Mar 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Service was lovely, a little slow but understandable since it seems only Alison and Chris work there. The food was good- better than other reviews suggested. I did feel the mezze platter was overpriced and I was disappointed that the pita chips became very hard when they cooled. The grilled cheese with mango salsa and guac was delicious, though it felt more like a sandwich than a super gooey indulgent grilled cheese. I would order that again. The bang bang cake was good- it has the texture of a flourless chocolate cake and the kick comes through after you finish a bite. It's good but not the best spicy chocolate cake dessert I've had. I do want to reiterate that service was lovely- both Alison and Chris were friendly and helpful; I don't know why other reviews were so negative. Mar 22, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by The food is incredible. Also the appetizer meat/cheese platter was phenomenal. And the $10 wine bottle Wednesday was a great treat! Thank you ! Nov 6, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not many choices and the quality/taste of the food wasn't that great not to mention they were out of most of the desserts offered. Nov 6, 2013
