Our family loves this place! It's owned by a family from Monterrey. The food is healthier than in most San Antonio restaurants and is never greasy. They have wonderful soups, especially the fideo and tlalapeno soups, and all the dishes we've tried are delicious.

This was our third time dining at this restaurant. The food is very good but the service is not. The last two times we dined there, the server forgot to bring out out tortillas and we cannot begin to eat without our tortillas. Even after reminding her, it took at least 10 minutes for her to bring them out. They also did not come around to refill drinks, we did not have enough napkins, we were missing silverware for 5 of the people at our table and overall they seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of people at the restaurant. We also ordered a $14 meat plate and the meat was of poor quality.
