Fabulous customer service. I had called ahead to find out their hours & the person I spoke with was incredibly friendly. When we arrived (no reservation)we were greeted with a warm welcome & consistently were tended to, but not over done, which is important to us. The food, was hands down the BEST Italian food we've had in years. We don't go out for Italian food much as we feel my husbands cooking is usually better (he is a Chef). The food here was so delicious that we made sure to let them know we would definitely be back. My husband went to the kitchen to thank their Chef for such a wonderful meal. Our son is 4 years old and he isn't much of a pasta eater. He devoured his food & truly enjoyed the complimentary bread & dipping oil w/ herbs. It was a great atmosphere, and is kid friendly, but only if you have well behaved children. It is a small place and a unruly child could really ruin the other guests experience.

The atmosphere was intimate, and the quality of food was above average, especially for the price level. Little things like home-made Italian rolls and the flavor of the olive oil/herbs to dip them in were particularly impressive. They only get a "good" rating because the service left something to be desired. Granted, they're a small restaurant and there was a large party there when we arrived. We had 3 different people waiting on us at various times, which lead to drinks and breadbaskets going to be refilled and not coming back. It wasn't anything egregious, just a lack of coordination that got a little annoying. The food was very flavorful, and the menu had some more unique options than the generic Italian fare we're used to seeing. Overall we'll be back because the quality of food was very impressive, especially at the moderate price point. We actually had to work to spend the full $50 coupon, even after appetizers and deluxe entrees.

They had a sign on the door that they are no longer honoring restaurant.com coupons on Fridays or Saturdays even though the restaurant.com coupon didn't say this. That was disappointing.

Great service and ambience...the hoiday decorations were an added treat! The location is 5 minutes from our home, so that is an additional benefit influencing future dining choices for us.

Service was good and the food was excellent, but the kitchen lost our order ticket and we waited more than 30 minutes for our dinners.

Service was just okay, little attention to detail. Had to wave down help for hearing the specials, water, bread, to-go containers. Whem we first started dining here service was wonderful!

We have been going to Villa Nuova ever since they opened, I love their house salad and my latest craving there is the Crème Brule Cheesecake! Followed closely by the Flourless Chocolate Cake!
