Rated 4 out of 5 by Hamburger was great. Beef stroganoff not so good. The server was the bar tender which isn't so great, but they were short a server I guess. Can also be noisy if you just want to converse with your dining companion. Sep 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by I wish the fish and chips was steak fries like the dish needs not potato chips...in England chips are fries ... do the dish right . The fish part was very good Sep 15, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Went for lunch with a friend. Had only been there one other time at night for an after dinner drink. Food was very good; prices reasonable, waiter very courteous, prompt, accommodating. I will definitely go back. Aug 25, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Thje Calimari appetizer was done just right - and the cajun remoulade was an excellent dip for it. The Corned Beef Ruben was delicious and well-stuffed. The hot turkey and Brie was superb. The peanut butter pie was outstanding. Desserts here are pricey - but they ARE house-made and excellent. We had a very late lunch there; mid-afternoons are quiet, making it very pleasant for us. It IS a pub and it WILL get loud when it's full of people. Jul 17, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by The Pub is a great neighborhood bar with good pub fare. Lots of friendly regulars and staff. Nice patio for late nights drinks. We used to be regulars until we moved away from Durham, but we take every chance to go there we can. Fun place to meet friends! Jul 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by I ordered the seafood platter combo two and I chose Cod as my two seafood options. The cod was a little wet and soggy. I expected it to be crispy, crunchy and well seasoned. The taste was bland and if it wasn't for tarter sauce from captain D's, I probably would have doused it with hot sauce to give it some kick. The fries were supposed to be seasoned but were very bland and under done. I had to reheat the fish and fries so they wouldn't be so soggy. The hush puppies were decent but they were not even the size of a munchkin from Dunkin Donuts. They were literally bite-sized. I ordered an iced tea with my meal as a take-out and the straw was placed in the cup. That means someone took the straw out of the wrapper and placed it with their fingers in my drink. No bueno. The food was okay but I just don't see myself returning. It appears this pub is okay with mediocrity. Jul 11, 2014
