Seems like the "rolls" are not freshly prepared - fish seemed very dry and tasteless.
The raw fish platter seemed like the fish had been frozen and then defrosted since the tuna and "white tuna" was very watery
Nicely presented on a bed of Ice, but needed to be fresh! NOTE: We advised waitress of coupon, so then the prices went UP - the coupon did not cover specials which were previously offered when we arrived! AND they did NOT deduct the coupon then figure tax, they totaled the entire meal, then took off the $25.00 which has NEVER happened in any other restaurant we used with these coupons.

Food was excellent, even though its not a huge place they were busy & only had 2 servers that were running like chickens w/heads cut off.

The reg. price for the size of the portion is not a good value. With the discount it comes out to the same amount as their special price menu items. Been here a couple of times & portions seen to get smaller recently.We would return only for their special offers not rest.com.Would frequent another Japanese with better value.

Place was crowded, service of course poor due to lack of staff and owner/manager instead of helping to serve in store customers kept taking phone orders much to the chagrin of our table and others. People who had arrived after our party received OUR order of a boat.

The waitress was extremely overbearing and pressuring us to order. After waiting an excessive amount of time for the sea bass that we ordered, we told her we were in a hurry (which was true, but this would have been annoying even if we werent). She disappeared in the back for a few more minutes only to return and tell us that they were out of sea bass! Why weren't we told upon ordering or at least soon after? The food was mediocre at best also. If restaurant.com wants to send me a replacement certificate, I would appreciate it. This restaurant was not even worth saving the $25.

the place is cozy and inviting. every thing we ordered was delicious except the chicken teriyaki didn't taste like chicken, and we felt we were rushed. even it was early and there was only another couple there.
