The waitress was so friendly and inviting! The atmosphere is great and not to mention the flavorful and delicious food! 5/10/2013 4:08:35 PM
Good food, casual atmosphere, great service but a little slow. 5/6/2013 8:36:00 AM
Our waitress did not provide good customer service and was arguementive towards myself and my guest. Additionally, the food quality was lower than ever before. 4/30/2013 2:11:45 PM
Friendly, attentive service, authentic cuisine well prepared and eagerly devoured! 4/28/2013 12:19:43 PM
Great family place. Awesome food. Everything we've tried on the menu is awesome. This is my new favorite place to eat. 4/21/2013 10:47:17 PM
Good food! 4/21/2013 12:07:18 AM
Wow. I had no idea this could be so good. And what kept me from coming here for so long. The location leaves something to be desired, and even the well placed bushes don't prevent you from remembering you are on Oak Lawn. But the food... oh it's so good. Eclectic menu, where I kinda wanted to try everything. So diametrically opposed to the tex-mex approach that dallas typically embraces. My girlfriend had the cachapa with chicken/vegitables, and sweet plantains. I had a dish with shredded beef and you could just taste the high quality. Even the rice was better than anything I had before. A+ for dinner. Dessert we got was 3-4/5, decent fare but didn't have the same flare. Service was amazing. All in all, 5/5; I will be going here a lot. 4/16/2013 10:08:01 PM
If you are in Dallas you have to go here! Some of the best food I have ever eaten, and the service is matched with same amount of warmth. Can't wait to visit Dallas again and eat at Zaguan Latin Cafe and Bakery!! 4/15/2013 8:21:45 PM
Server was great, food was tasty. 4/11/2013 4:16:42 PM
The good was amazing. Empanadas and cheese stick appetizers are highly recommended 4/10/2013 8:15:33 PM
The food selection is fantastic and the flavors and presentation were really good. I enjoyed everything we ordered. I am definitely going back. 4/8/2013 10:33:56 AM
Appetizers were great. Enter fair 3/27/2013 10:25:17 PM
Courteous and attentive service. Tasty food well presented. 3/27/2013 4:13:25 PM
The restaurant is a bit run down and smells of grease. There was a pool of water under one of the freezers. My empanadas were super greasy and the meat in the Ropa Vieja dish was cold. The upside were the deserts; the Dulce de Leche, Tiramisu and Flan were really good. I would probably come back for those. 3/24/2013 10:36:32 PM
Good quality food. Great deserts. A relaxed, casual dining experience. 3/20/2013 10:18:00 PM
our service was horrible, just plain horrible. if this was my first time visiting I'd never go back. I staff yu had on duty tuedsday march 19th at 8pm should be terminated. It was just that bad 3/20/2013 12:02:25 AM
Rude, poor service, food was prepared poorly and no condiments were included. 3/13/2013 12:04:29 AM
Interesting menu; waitstaff was very helpful making recommendations; food was delicious! 2/25/2013 10:18:37 AM
Let me start with the good...Great variety of desserts and all well made...also great columbian coffee.... Now the bad part...Very greasy food...maybe because some of the food we picked were deep fried stuff...also had issues with billing....my wife has been here before and she warned me about overcharging which she fought tooth and nail.. 2/23/2013 10:11:06 AM
Atmosphere great. Food delish. Really enjoyed the meal and so did my guest. 2/18/2013 10:13:06 PM
Thw wait time was very long. took about 45min to get our food. also the size of the wine glass was more like a shot glass and way expensive at $6.50 per glass. 2/18/2013 10:37:32 AM
We ordered the arepas and felt they were dry. The side item was fruit and not ripe enough to be served. 2/18/2013 10:18:20 AM
Wait person gave suggestions in food selections. Food was good and prices are reasonable 2/16/2013 12:37:18 AM
Interesting food and very very friendly people running the restaurant. 2/16/2013 12:31:32 AM
Food was excellent but service was poor. Hopefully, they were understaffed. We didn't get water (had to go to counter to ask) while others arriving after us had water. Food was delivered before wine, which was $8/small cup, so $16 for what I'm pretty sure was sangre de toro ($8/bottle retail). My plate was taken before I finished my meal. Salmon and steak were both delicious. Next time, we'll order to-go. 2/16/2013 12:30:06 AM
