Bubba's Bar-B-Que
Bubba's is truly a local, family operation currently owned by Denise and Brian Wiegand. Denise Sanders grew up in Cody and is an alum of Cody High School and the University of Wyoming. Brian, originally from Pittsburgh, PA GO STEELERS is a U.S. Navy veteran. The two have been married for over 18 years and have two beautiful children whom you can often find working in the restaurant, helping out. The family has lived in Cody since 2007 and purchased the business in 2011 with the desire to make a positive contribution to the local community as business owners. We have been asked if there really is someone named Bubba. Yes. Over 25 years ago, Bubba Jim Shivler decided to open a bar b que restaurant in Jackson, Wyoming. He developed recipes to create the succulent, slow smoked meats that we are serving today. Wyoming folks may remember that Bubba was one of Wyoming's state legislators.
