Rated 5 out of 5 by from The food was amazing. The sauces reminded me of France and Switzerland; the soups were sublime! Can't say enough good things. The decor was a throwback, but in a good way, and even if it is not your style, the cooking is exquisite. The only item not five stars was the dessert (chocolate mousse; decent, but not nearly in range of my bread, soup, wine, and calamari).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very dated decor and gaudy; appetizer was awful; waiter took way too long to seat us and it wasn't even busy; salad and entree were good, wine was okay

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I found this restaurant to be very cozy. Dimmed lights and decor created a comfortable asthmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from We were a few minutes late for our reservation and were told we had to wait for a table. We were seated in a dark tiny area that barely fit to chairs let alone to people. The chairs had pillows and teddy bears on them which made sitting difficult. There was a TV in this tiny closet room that was inches from your face with no sound. We were seated right after another couple left and there were bread crumbs and oil marks on the table cloth that was not changed. We sat for an eternity before our drink order was taken and because it took so long we were ready to order but that did not happen. My sweet tea was overly sweet and tasted like it was spoiled. So I asked for unsweet tea, still no dinner order taken. After about 15 to 20 min the server said he will put an order in for bread. Still no order taken despite all this time our menues were on the table. Finally orders were taken. After a while salads arrived befoe appetizers. They were good but we had been there an hour at this point with no communication from the server. 10 min after our salad plates were cleared our appetizers appeared. At this point I was ready for another drink. Another gentleman came in and was seated right by us after a few minutes with his bread right away. Then he got his salad and a refill on his drink while we still waited. Appetizer plates were cleared, no drnk refill.I finally had to ask our waiter for another drink while he was walking by, at this point both my drink and glass of water were empty. Another painful amount of time went by and still no dinner. Finally our dinner arrived. My schnitzel tasted like it was deep fried in dirty oil and was burned in places. It was not seasoned at all. All I could taste was oil. My husbands flounder dish was watery. The gentleman at the nearby table had been served his dinner. We will not be back. When I looked up the restaurant on line it looked so cute. When we arrived we never made it past the bar. We sat near the kitchen which was noisy and confusing as to how our server could over look us. My impression of the decor was that of an elderly women on the verge of being a hoarder. It was so dark and at first I thought it was quaint but then I worried after I saw how they didnt change the table clothes in between customers that it was so you couldnt see dust on all the things in there. I was very excited to go to this restaurant prior to our visit and was truly let down mostly by how our sever basically ignored us. We left after aproximately 2hrs and went elsewhere for coffee and desert. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
