I ordered Chicken Chesapeake and it is supposed to have lump crab meat but it did not. It had shrimp and no crab. We should have been offered something else if there was no crab meat. Same with the crab pretzel. Spinach...no crab.

The customer service was excellent. Being our first time, we were greeted as soon as we arrived; our server, Corey was pleasant and very helpful with the menu - offering his suggestions. Corey was a great host, on top of making sure our drinks were full and our food was to order. Before leaving the manager greeted us, sharing his story connected to the restaurant; he also gave us complimentary pumpkin muffins to take home. Very kind of them.

Both my son and my husband ordered their French toast… It looked amazing but when they cut into it it was gooey inside, we sent my sons back and received a new plate in less than five minutes… All three of them we’re gooey inside… The pieces of bread were very thick so it’s understandable that it was happening, but we were disappointed… The potatoes/ Hashbrowns unfortunately we’re flavorless and under cooked… We really wanted to like this place :-)…

Excited bc of the rave reviews. Invited a couple of family members that lives in the area for Brunch on a Sun at 11. We drove over an hour (we live on the E Shore). the 7 of us got there & the wait was 45 minutes to get a Table (they do NOT take reservations). We asked to sit together so the wait was much longer then usual. We were told they would put 2 Tables together for us. Instead they put us in 2 separate Booths (so they lied). Sat directly across from the Cooks/Kitchen. What I witnessed was GROSS. The Kitchen area & the Floors are really NASTY. I won't go into detail but my Eggs spoke to what I witnessed in the Kitchen (21 & 26 yo son & daughter said the same since they were sitting directly across from the cook area as well). One positive, the Waitress was very nice & efficient. Food, wait time & being lied too were TERRIBLE. Can't believe we drove that far & then I was served overcooked dried up Eggs w/ up old smoked Salmon (bad Strawberries at the bottom of my fruit Cup too). Used a ton of hot sauce to try to reconstitute the dried up Eggs/Salmon. If Garry's smokes their oen Salmon they need to fire the people who do it bc it's really awful. None one in our party will return. Wasted money & left completely disappointed. Glad to spend time w/ family. Well sort of since they put us in 2 different Booths. Can't get over the wonderful reviews.

The food is exceptional. I honestly have no words to describe how delicious it was. The customer service is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. It’s a warm, friendly, inclusive environment. Our server Tasha was amazing, fantastic, pleasant, sweet, engaging. I literally can’t recall the last time I received such wonderful service.

Destiny was our server and was one of the best ever! Also, we come to Garry's at least 6 times per year. NOTE: It was specified that the steak be cooked so there "was no pink" but it was served medium :( Destiny took care of getting it re-cooked for us but my sister almost couldn't eat it because of the first cooking. My salmon was excellent. Destiny was also very patient with us (sister was visiting from out of town and had never been to Garrys).

they weren't able to accommodate my request for grilling one of my items and also requested for no old bay, The chef was not able to grill an item. He said it had to be fried. I didn't feel that the chef was able to accommodate what I thought were simple requests. our waitress was very good, though. very expensive for the meal.

This place is amazing! It isn't much to look at but those hole in the wall places are always the best. The food was great and so was the service. Super friendly, recommended some good things to try out, didn't bother us too much during the meal but was always there when we needed her! Plus the food came out super quick. Service was excellent. I got the special, a grilled cheese sandwich cooked panini style, which would have been delicious except that the grilled onions in sauce they added made the bread soggy. Not a good thing. I had to scrape them all off. The coconut cake dessert was so-so as well. It had a weird after taste.

Service was spotty. We noticed that our server was setting up and prepping for dinner hours and ignoring us. We had to get up to find more coffee, find someone to get us condiments,the coffee was lukewarm, then we waited again while it was warmed up. The dinners, while served at the same time, ranged from cool to hot. However, the food was tasty if you overlooked it being cold, and luckily we enjoyed each others' company so the waiting was tolerable. We can see why it is popular and we talked about returning as the menu looks delightful.Seemed under staffed.They need to work on service.

Overall service was good by all staff but server, who tried his best to ignore us once he brought out the food. Not sure why, because he kept stopping at the table next to us and chatting up an older couple. I had to ask another server walking by if I could have cocktail sauce for my crabcake instead of the tartar sauce that came with it, because i could not find the server. The other server gladly provided it, no questions asked, even though she was not our server. Maybe I should ask for her next time. Sorry, don't recall names but will remember faces next time.

They have an in-house pastry chef who creates desserts that outshine all other restaurants. Generally like the food at Garry's Grill and most of the time go for breakfast and not dinner. Although the dinner I got, the special, siracha chicken pasta was good, I was surprised that it only came with a very tiny piece of garlic bread and that my friend with me wasn't given any bread with her steak dinner until she asked... and unfortunately she asked for her steak to be well done and it was cooked more medium/pinker... However, we did enjoy the service and ambiance.

I first asked for a wrap (sorry I don't remember which one). The waiter told me they ran out of the large tortillas and would have to use smaller ones. I then asked for the cobb wrap, which was the special of the day. I was told the same thing, they ran out of the large wraps. My granddaughter and I then ordered the shrimp and crab quesadillas. We received two small tortillas cut in half. I would say there was about two tablespoons of filling in each tortillas, if that. We didn't say anything at the time, but after I thought about it, we should have sent it back. It really was unacceptable. We have eaten at Garry's quite a few times and this was not up to their usual standards. Also, the mac and cheese on the childrens' menu was totally dried out. My grandson wouldn't eat it. We ended up taking home a piece of chocolate silk pie and a piece of red velvet cake. I couldn't believe how small the pieces were when we took them out of the boxes at home. I don't know if they changed their bakery, but these were not up to their usual standards and at $6 each, too expensive. I have always liked Garry's, but after this experience, I don't know if I would go back. My husband did say his Reuben was good. My son had the apple and brie panini and said it was okay.

The staff just seemed very worked up and frazzled, rather than friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was not very busy so we were disappointed to have items haphazardly dropped in front of us and not placed in the bags (we ordered carry-out). The sauce for my wrap was not included in the order, and the sweet potato fries were over a bed of jalapenos - jalapenos are not an ingredient that a majority of people enjoy or can tolerate. It wasn't on the menu that they would be in with the fries, and so I wasn't able to eat very many as most had been touching the peppers.

We have been to Garry's Grill many times and the food and service have always been very good. On this visit the entree that I ordered (Sesame Tuna) was way overcooked. I ordered medium rare and it was cooked medium well.

Service was outstanding; most of the food was great, however, I've eaten Garry's salad for a few years. Something has changed and this new version was a severe disappointment. Still love the spiced tea.

Crab cake was great, asked for crackers, we're in Maryland, expected Saltines but got wheat crackers. Oh well. But, the service was excellent.

The staff was wonderful and the food was excellent. It was a great experience. It will be even better when they open the deck next summer.
