Serving slow-smoked BBQ for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a long tap list of local beer, cider, and mead. Smokin J's BBQ was founded in 2016 by a man with a smoker and a popup tent. After dragging that thing all over San Diego County for three years we opened our first restaurant in Poway. Now we are thrilled to bring our slow-smoked meats and house-made sides to the Gaslamp District. Serving up brisket, pulled pork, ribs, fried chicken, and all the sides you want (beans, mac, collard greens, cornbread...). Wash it down with a selection from our 18 tap system boasting only local drafts.
