Serving the Chatman community for over 50 years and one of the oldest Soul Food, restaurant in Chicago. Named after the late Pastor Larry Hopkins, west-side church, this 3 generation landmark in the black community is where heart food is served. "We believe what comes from the heart, reaches the heart." says owner, daughter and head chef; Daniella Coffey as she continues the legacy of her family. In addition to serving classic dishes such as Smothered Pork Chops, Dressing, and Oxtails, the Country Kitchen is gearing up to introduce extended hours, brunch, and breakfast! An old crowd favorite with in-house breakfast sausage made from scratch. Come get you some food that feeds the soul.
