The owners John Kalem and Ibrahim Bilgin are related , and both are from Adana,Turkey. (ERGO-''Adana'' Lamb Kebabs: the favorite of both gentlemen.) Both of these entrepreneurs are experienced restaurateurs with a gracious approach that welcomes each dinner as if welcoming a guest into their home. Mediterrano is the sort of place that remembers you as you return; and embraces you as a family when you become a regular guest. Ibrahim and John run Mediterrano with an apparent ease that could make us all think that we ''could do that.'' As anyone who has done it knows, running a restaurant is a 24/7 undertaking. John is the food man, and Ibrahim is the marketing and logistics man. Together, they have brought something to our region that is both unique and palette-pleasing beyond words. Since John has wanted to be a chef from the age of eight it is no wonder that Mediterrano is a superb dining experience. Of course, we mustn't forget the little ones. The French fries and chicken fingers on the menu are geared to the children in our group. My favorite dish could also be enjoyed by children as well. I try to order the appetizer platter with warm Lavash hollow bread whenever I am at Mediterrano. This platter consists of really delicious hummus, stuffed grape leaves, babaganoush, olives and their own salsa. I order the warm bread and everyone at my table shares-happily. This is more than a nice place to eat that happens to be run by two very nice men. This exciting restaurant is a gift to us all.
