At the Postal Cafe, we offer breakfast and lunch every day. From our oven roasted turkey to our homemade country gravy, we enjoy making food from scratch. We also offer a variety of homemade sweet treats. We're a great little detour stop between Reno and Carson City!

Postal Cafe is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was an easy stop for lunch on our way from Reno to Lake Tahoe. Postal Cafe is a very cool converted post office/gas station. We ate at an outside table under an overhang where gas pumps used to be. The staff is very friendly, professional and enthusiastic in wanting you to enjoy your lunch (they are only open for breakfast and lunch). My daughter had bbq bacon burger with fries. Handmade burgers and crispy bacon, it was delicious. The fries too. My wife loved her mushroom and Swiss burger. She had house made macaroni salad which was terrific. My burger had green chilis and pepper jack cheese which I loved. The sweet potato fries were crisp and delicious. The Postal Cafe is not to be missed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was an interesting place, with memorabilia from its days as a combination post office-cafe. Our waitress was super friendly and told us about its history.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Food was great and plentiful. Waitress was very nice, but don't be in a hurry, because it took forever to get our food.We were told it had to do with getting the stove up to temperature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a quality restaurant out in the middle of a rustic countryside in Nevada. There was a little bit of everything available--more than you would expect in an establishment that is off the beaten path. They pay attention to detail and cook the food to your specifications. There is even local folk-art on the walls, done by local artists. There are also some local foods available, such as some home-made jams, baked goods, etc. to go. This is the kind of place that is fun to discover on a road trip, with a taste of home cooking while on the road.
