Vocelli Pizza - Greystone
Vocelli Pizza, founded in Pittsburgh almost 30 years ago, is now open in the Arbor Place Shopping Center in the Greystone area of Birmingham. Its community destination features high quality food, great value, and a family friendly atmosphere. The owners, Brian Shurtz and Paxton Eggler, have been in business in the Birmingham area for the past 15 years in various arenas of the restaurant industry. They are excited to introduce Vocelli Pizza, voted #1 in Pittsburgh, to Birmingham. Vocelli Pizza is located next to the Egg & I in the Greystone area of Highway 280 near the Lee Branch Shopping area. This first franchise is just the beginning- nine other locations will be opening in Alabama over the next seven years. Vocelli Pizza's artisan pizzas, pastas, salads, subs, appetizers, and desserts differ distinctly from other eating establishments. Each dish, made with high quality products, contain a flavor unique to Vocelli Pizza. The sauces are made exclusively for Vocelli Pizza, and the dough is made fresh in house every day. The pepperoni, found only at Vocelli Pizza, contains natural oils that meld into the cheese and sauce, giving the pizza a delicious flavor profile.
